Abstract
The isolation in Vietnam of an arbovirus strain very similar to the virus of Japanese encephalitis B (1) and the recent investigations (2) on the employment of DEAE-cellulose chromatography for the purification and eventually the characterization of arboviruses encouraged one to initiate a study on the chromatographic analysis of these two viruses using DEAE-Sephadex. These studies were carried out by comparing these two viruses with a virus apparently belonging also to the group B arboviruses-namely, the West-Nile virus. (Author)
