Report of the Antarctic Ice Observing and Forecasting Program - 1967.

Abstract

The sea ice program conducted by the Oceanographic Office principally in support of DEEP FREEZE 68 antarctic operations is presented in this report. Methods of data collection and dissemination, ice forecasting, and allied ice projects are discussed. A summary of ice conditions in the Ross Sea and McMurdo Sound is given graphically by 6-day periods from October 1967 to February 1968. (Author)
