Optimum Intercept Law: Part II.

Abstract

The optimum intercept and injection laws for accelerating targets in three dimensions are presented. Control is based upon predicted miss and the predicted time to closest approach. The special case where prediction is based on only relative displacement and velocity is compared with proportional navigation, line of sight, and pursuit intercept laws. (Author)
