Transtage ACS Valve Storage Tests.
Abstract
The transtage attitude-control valves are presently being subjected to a 3-year storage test program to determine performance degradation versus storage time. This report covers the testing of nine valves to establish baseline reference data and the results of an accelerated storage test on one valve. The accelerated storage test consisted of varying the storage temperature from 35F to 160F at weekly intervals throughout a 3-month period with valve performance tests conducted at the end of each month.
