Diving Research Interests at GERS, Toulon Naval Base,

Abstract

The current research and development projects in diving being undertaken at the Groupe d'Etudes et Recherches Sous-marines laboratory at the Naval Base, Toulon, France, are reviewed. Items such as the new diver support vessel nearing completion, developmnt of heated diver's suits and current research on the physiological interaction of inert gases with high pressure oxygen are discussed.
