Abstract

This report presents a detailed description of the electro-acoustic system for a proposed, underwater acoustic test facility. The electronic components for the generation and the reception of acoustic pulses are analyzed; and the theory and the hardware for the performance of the basic acoustic testing tasks are discussed in detail.
