Effects of Engine Thrust Transients on XSM-65D Missiles,

Abstract

Missile 36D was tested at the Sycamore Canyon Captive Test Site, from 28 October 1959 through 9 February 1960. The purpose of the test program was to study missile tank skin strain characteristics during the thrust build-up transient for both wet and dry engine start configurations. (Author)
