Abstract

The technical note reflects the results of a study performed on types 2N1872 and 2N2324 silicon controlled rectifiers to determine the following: Conformance of the following parameters of commercial grade devices to the requirements. Performance of the above listed parameters over the temperature range of -55C to +55C. Comparison of the subject parameter values to those of type 2N2324 over the operating temperature range. Comparison of the fabrication techniques and geometry of each device type. Recommendations for pre-inspection screening techniques to satisfy the Shrike missile application in which these devices are to be used. (Author)
