Results of an Investigation of Methods to Control the Air and Water Environment of a Three-Tank, High Frequency Hydroacoustic Test Facility,

Abstract

This report discusses the environmental conditioning equipment appropriate to the efficient operation of a three-tank high frequency hydroacoustic test facility. The report describes the acoustical considerations which led to the selection of particular kinds of equipment, and relates the selections to the individual uses proposed for each of the three tanks. It further develops a specific solution to a proposed requirement for transducer testing through a range of controlled water temperatures. (Author)
