Test Program on Durability of Aircraft Coatings.

Abstract

The report discusses a program intended to develop rapid tests useful in predicting long-term service durability of exterior finishes on aircraft. A laboratory research program was followed to develop an accelerated method for determining the resistance of paint coatings to an oxidizing atmosphere at 100-125C.
