Crosslinking and Filler Reinforcement of Perfluoroalkylene Triazine Elastomers

Abstract

The polymerization, molecular structure and milling of a high strength general purpose vulcanizate based on perfluoroalkylene triazine polymer for potential use in the 500 to 800 degrees F range are discussed. The effects of accelerated aging and filler reinforcements on the mechanical, physical and electrical properties of the triazine elastomers are reported.
