User's Manual. Volume 5. Turbulent Boundary Layer Program (Rebound)

Abstract

The report is one of six volumes providing user's manuals for a series of computer programs developed for the Air Force Weapons Laboratory. The program described in this volume treats the inviscid flow field, ablation mass loss, and turbulent boundary layer on a spherically blunted conical body. The principal advantage of this formulation is the use of a real gas equation of state for the ablation products air mixture. The report describes the theory and calculation procedure for the program and presents sample cases for clarifying the data input.
