Given are basic consideration on pressure sintering and theory of the sintering curve. The effect of the powder condition and the auxiliary metal. Description of the pressure sintering arrangement. Evaluation of the initial portion of the sintering curve. Coordination of the energy of activation with respect to sintering rates. Interpretation of various effects on sintering.
