Structural Shape and Movement in the Tail of the Comet Mrkos 1957d,
Abstract
In a series of pictures of Comet Mrkos 1957 d velocities of streamers and condensations in the ionized tail of this comet as well as the dimensions of fine filaments have been measured. The investigation was carried out partly by means of a stereoscopic method, partly by direct measurement.
