Trip Report XM-571 Articulated Cargo Carrier Evaluation.
Abstract
The test continued to run smoothly without incident or major problems. Personnel of the 2nd, Bn, 47th Inf have accepted the vehicle as a valuable aid in supporting the mission of the battalion. Although the vehicle has displayed excellent cross country mobility characteristics during the current dry season, a valid test of ite mobility can not be achieved until the rainy season appears. The vehicle continues to be used primarily in resupply missions since it is obviously best suited for this role. Maintenance demands have been minor to date.
