Development of a Summary Report for Naval Gunfire Support Data. Volume I.
Abstract
The design of a reporting method to periodically summarize the most pertinent information in a Naval surface gunfire data base is described. Considerations used in selecting this information and in developing a proposed summary report format are discussed. The development of algorithms and the design of a computer program for automated generation of report content are covered. A sample of the proposed summary report is provided, together with a comprehensive listing of the algorithms, a set of flow charts, and other details required for the preparation of a computer program to be used in report production.
