Review of Recent Developments: Corrosion and Compatibility

Abstract

A literature survey on the corrosion and compatibility of materials with rocket fuels and oxidizers has been prepared in connection with the use of valves in a spacecraft liquid propulsion system. In addition to corrosion and compatibility, the survey also contains information on shock sensitivity, lubricity, viscosity, radiation tolerances, effects of leakage, and other properties of propellants.
