Hydrocarbon-Air Fuel Cells.

Abstract

Detailed information is presented on a continuing research and development program to develop a direct hydrocarbon oxidation-air fuel cell technology. Current work included research on alloy electrocatalysts for H2-CO fuel mixtures, metal oxide catalysts, electrochemical deposition, and evaluation of transition - metal carbides and compounds as electrocatalysts in acidic electrolytes.
