Computation of Equilibrium Properties of Reactive Gas Mixtures for Use in Gasdynamic Analysis.

Abstract

A computer program for the evaluation of the equilibrium states generated by specific gasdynamic processes has been developed. The program calculates the thermodynamic properties and chemical composition of gas mixtures, with or without components in condensed phases, for gasdynamic discontinuities and isentropic flows, with respect to a given initial state, using pressure as the independent variable. Thermodynamic data for the chemical species are obtained from the JANAF Tables or a similar reference. Operating instructions, flow diagrams FORTRAN IV statements and several illustrative problems are included. (Author)
