Radiation Recovery Studies - Response Statistics.

Abstract

The immediate post irradiation response patterns of the leukocytes and granulocytes in beagles and leukocytes and neutrophils in sheep are described in terms of a fourth degree polynomial. The estimated times to first maximum deviation and the magnitude of the response at these times were analyzed with respect to the level of the irradiation exposure. A second phase of the study involves performing an LD-50 type of analysis of lethality data from sheep experiments. (Author)
