Continental Model CD-468 Gas Generator Core Demonstrator.
Abstract
A core gas generator demonstrator was assembled for limited testing to establish mechanical integrity and aerodynamic coefficients. These initial tests determined airflow and thrust characteristics for altitude chamber testing. Preliminary designs were also investigated on an improved gas generator and turbofans with increased performance capabilities. (Author)
