Discussion of Some Performance Measures Used With Automatic Terrain Following Systems.

Abstract

In this report, performance measures are discussed in an effort to find a suitable figure of merit for Terrain Following Systems. Methods of obtaining the measures, and a discussion of each individual measure are included. It was found that no one measure was able to completely describe a flight, but several measures must be used. (Author)
