Electrooptical Sensor Design for Digital Fire Control Systems.

Abstract

This report presents the results of an investigation into the state-of-the-art of electrooptical sensors and their use in digital fire control systems. Both passive and active systems are discussed, as are environmental factors, target characteristics, receivers, amplifiers and signal conditioning, displays, platform, trackers, and overall system design.
