A Methodological Approach to the Description of a Military Logistics System.

Abstract

The transportation subsystem of an actual military logistics system was analyzed from a probabilistic approach to experiential data. The thesis details the efforts involved and the results of that study. Using non-specific but descriptive terminology, the logistics system is described. Theory related to goodness-of-fit tests, tests for randomness, and approximations is presented. The analysis is outlined and the results are displayed. Anomalies within the results are discussed and suggestions for further research are made. (Author)
