Nucleonic Cryogenic Propellant Gaging System.

Abstract

The objectives of this program were to design, fabricate and ground test a prototype propellant gaging system capable of operating with high energy, cryogenic liquid fluorine (LF2) and liquid hydrogen (LH2) propulsion systems for future upper-stage booster space maneuvering missions. This report details the analysis of the nucleonic methods considered for cryogenic propellant gaging and delineates the results of feasibility study of such techniques. (Author)
