Metric Practice Guide for Z(Weapon System 319A)ZAGM-65A (Maverick) Missile,

Abstract

The Metric Practice Guide was prepared for use in the Air Force study to ascertain the impact of applying the metric system of units to the AGM-65A Maverick Missile. It contains tables of factors selected from NBS, SAE and BSI publications for converting U.S. customary units to equivalent metric (SI) units. Rules for style and use in engineering drawings and reports are covered. Metric tolerance and preferred number standards plus information on metric threaded fasteners and cutting tools conclude the Guide.
