Microwave Integrated-Circuit Noise Source.

Abstract

The report covers the first three months of development activity on a microwave integrated-circuit noise source. The work involved the design fabrication and testing of a semiconductor noise diode, a temperature-compensated-current source driver for the diode, and a microwave circuit on which to mount the diode. Each of these areas is discussed and test results are given. It is concluded that the project goals can be satisfactorily accomplished. (Author)
