Preliminary Design Data Items 1A and 1B Basic Motion Device and Screen Structure.

Abstract

The report describes the design of a basic motion system capable of moving a display-object with six degrees of freedom relative to a point source of light. This basic motion device will be employed with a screen and appropriate programming and serve control devices to provide coordinated visual displays to observers essentially stationary in space.
