Investigation of the Production and Product Analysis of Tungsten Fiber-Reinforced Copper-Silver Alloy Matrix Composites Formed by Liquid Phase Sintering.

Abstract

The purpose of this investigation was to study the feasibility of producing fiber reinforced composites by vibratory compaction and liquid phase sintering. Tensile data for continuous fiber reinforced composites fabricated by this technique was in very good agreement with the rule-of- mixing. (Author, modified-PL)
