Evaluation of Dacron Purchase Tapes Utilizing the E-28 Arresting-Gear System.
Abstract
An evaluation test program was conducted to determine if the service life of dacron purchase tapes was significantly different from that of nylon tape. The accumulated data were also used to determine if the arresting-gear performance would be changed using dacron tapes in lieu of nylon tapes. (Author)
