Visual Simulation and Image Interpretation.
Abstract
This report summarizes the available data on parameters affecting target recognition in dynamic image forming systems. The various alternative ways in which visual systems can be simulated and the relative merits of each approach are discussed. Seventy-one research reports which purport to relate to the effect upon operator performance of variations in the parameters of image forming systems are analyzed. (Author)
