Optoelectronics Switch Array.

Abstract

The report summarizes the design and fabrication of a microelectronic memory module known as the optoelectronic switch array. This report is divided into three parts. Part 1 states the purpose of the development, summarizes the design of the circuit and the masks, describes processing of complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor FET circuits using the silicon-on-sapphire technology, and presents test results and conclusions. Part 2 sets forth the recommendations based on the contractor's experience. Part 3 contains detailed supplementary data which may be useful during the evaluation of the delivered hardware. (Author)
