Microcircuit Crystal Oscillator.

Abstract

The purpose of this contract is to produce and assemble a series of microcircuit crystal oscillators in the 7 MHz to 20 MHz frequency range, over a twenty-four (24) month period, packaged in a multiple lead TO-5 enclosure. The basic circuit employed is a Colpitts type utilizing a thin film RC (resistance-capacitance) network, a 2N918 transistor chip, and a suitable quartz resonator. The following report describes the advancement made toward producing engineering samples as a demonstration of technical progress on the contract. (Author)
