Review of Recent Developments. Titanium and Titanium Alloys,

Abstract

The removal of oxide scales from titanium and its alloys are reviewed at a meeting of the Society of Aerospace Material and Process Engineers. Scales formed at high temperatures, as during primary metalworking operations, and scales formed at lower temperatures, as during hot forming and heat treatment, are discussed. (Author)
