Investigation of the Mechanism of Stress Corrosion of Aluminum Alloys.

Abstract

An investigation was made to correlate the electrochemical characteristics of representative aluminum alloys with their stress corrosion bahavior in the short transverse direction in environments selected to provide large differences in this behavior. (Author)
