Micron Mensuration Stage for M-5 Microscope.
Abstract
This report describes the engineering, development concept, and final test results for development of the Micron Mensuration Stage. The report records in detail the major areas of mechanical, electronic, and optical development which resulted in completion and delivery of the prototype. Performance of important components is discussed and evaluated on the bases of test data to verify whether the specified qualitative and quantitative goals were obtained. The conclusions and recommendations provide a realistic and critical evaluation of the development with recommendations in manufacturing processes as well as design consideration. (Author)
