Abstract

The study examines damage to the Albuquerque Fire Department as a result of the Five-City-Study attack and analyzes the fire department capabilities in dealing with the postattack fire situation. After reviewing damage incurred by personnel, facilities, and equipment, the remaining fire-service resources were evaluated. The evaluation considered strength and location of the fire services prior to the attack, casualties and damage incurred to the fire services as a result of the attack, and analysis of the remaining capabilities in the postattack period.
