Engineering Test of Armament Subsystem, 20-mm, XM35 on AH-1G Helicopter.

Abstract

The engineering test of the XM35 subsystem is being performed to determine the safety characteristics of the subsystem and to determine functioning and reliability of the subsystem in relation to the technical requirements. The environmental test phases, (high and low temperature, humidity, and vibration) were performed in April through 9 July 1969. Tests of the subsystem on the aircraft are scheduled to begin in September 1969.
