The Ethyl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Binder System: Cure and Mechanical Behavior Studies.
Abstract
The curing kinetics of the neat EA/AA/Unox 221 gumstock and propellants containing this gumstock were studied durometrically with regard to composition variations and the moderating effects of propellant ingredients. Broad spectrum mechanical properties obtained by uniaxial tensile tests over a wide range of straining rates and temperatures were measured. Nominal maximum stress and strain data as well as ultimate or failure data are reported. (Author)
