Service Test of Universal Engineer Tractor.

Abstract

The test objectives were: to determine if the test item met approved QMR; if the test item was suitable for Army use under temperate climate conditions; if the design changes and corrections to previous test deficiencies and shortcomings were adequate; and if the test item could be adequately operated and maintained with available tools, spare parts, operators manuals, and maintenance literature. The two test items were operated a total of 412 test hours and 3,987 test miles, all of which were accumulated under simulated field conditions in a manner typifying normal operational use of the equipment by units in the field.
