A Periodically Loaded, Latching, Non-Reciprocal Ferrite Phase Shifter,

Abstract

The report describes recent experiments on the effect of periodically loading a unique version of the twin slab waveguide phase shifter. The results indicate that the phase shift per unit length of device can be increased considerably through this technique. A method of frequency compensating the differential phase shift of the periodic structure is described. The advantages of the unique cross section and possible applications of the experimental circuit are pointed out. (Author)
