A 16-Channel Analyzer-Recorder for Stochastic Processes,

Abstract

In the search for empirical equivalents for links which exist between the theory of fatigue strength and mathematical statistics, a concept for making analyses of loads appearing at a definite work point of the machine has been adopted, and, consequently, a 16-channel analyzer-recorder of stochastic processes has been developed. The device is designed for operation with a tensometric dynamic bridge. It analyzes the process of changes occurring in measured stress which is eventually recorded by the bridge. The analyzer represents a fully transistorized digital device provided with magnetic storage. The device is designed for three basic programs of operation: recording, readout, and erasing. Examples of analyses of the forces in the cables of a loaded excavator are given. (Author)
