Investigation and Compilation of the Thermodynamic Properties of High Temperature Chemical Species.
Abstract
The paper presents the simultaneous adjustment carried out during preparation of new JANAF Thermochemical Tables for C2F4, CF3 and CF3X. Eight fluorides (C2F4, CF3, CF3H, CF3Cl, CF3Br, CF3I, CF3CN, CF3CF3) had their heats of formation fixed by simultaneous solution of interrelated heat of reaction data, and this is fully described. New information on the heat of formation of CN, g, and on the interrelations between the fluorides became available after the tables were finished for comment. These data have been evaluated for the final issue of the tables, and the final revised simultaneous solution is described. (Author)
