A Least Squares Approach to Multilinear Regression in Regions Bounded by Linear Constraints.

Abstract

The report presents a least squares approach for solving a system of linear equations constrained by linear surfaces. An algorithm is developed for cases where some of the constraints express inequalities. A computer program using this method is included. The procedures developed here have been successfully applied to mixture optimization problems. (Author)
