Environmental Testing of the SMU-64/A Pal Simulator.

Abstract

An SMU-64/A, a Permissive Action Link (PAL) simulator for the SUU-20/A Bomb-Rocket Dispenser, was subjected to high temperature and thermal shock, low temperature and thermal shock, humidity, mechanical shock, and vibration testing according to MIL-S-38975 (USAF). The testing program was required to certify the SMU-64/A for 'standard status.' (Author)
