The Development of Improved Target Paper for Use at Army Training Centers.

Abstract

The report covers the investigation of Army user requirements for target paper and evaluation of currently available target papers. Additionally, laboratory-prepared target papers were evaluated in a limited investigation of groundwood/sulfate fiber content and additive formulations. Results from a questionnaire sent to thirty Army user interest locations indicated a need for a target paper durable under adverse weather conditions and standardized with respect to color and printing qualities.
