On Turbulent Diffusion in the Ground Layer of Air. Part II,

Abstract

The report is a continuation of a theoretical paper on vertical diffusion in the atmospheric surface boundary layer (two-layer problem) published by the author in 1965 (Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Geophysical Institute. Trudy, no. 6, 1965). An asymptotic presentation is given for formulas which take into account short and long periods of diffusion. It is shown that the use of these formulas and related tables makes it possible to generalize the results obtained for instances of diffusion from point sources in the atmospheric boundary layer.
