Computer Simulation of Cargo Handling Systems.

Abstract

A computer language together with a supporting software package is developed for the simulation of cargo handling systems. Subject to very broad constraints, any cargo handling system may be modeled using this system. The software package is coded in PL/1. While knowledge of this language is not a prerequisite for the use of this system, it is desirable in order to utilize its full potential. The simulation system must be run on an IBM 360 computer with a PL/1 level (F) compiler and at least 150K of core storage. (Author)
