Correlation Properties of Periodic Binary Sequences.
Abstract
Binary sequences are frequently used in electronic communications. The smallness of the correlation coefficients of such a sequence provides some measure of its desirability for communications purposes. This report utilizes well-known results from probability theory to approximate the correlation coefficients for periodic binary sequence. A method for generating families of sequences is discussed, and sample calculations are given. (Author)
