Operational Influences on Systems Effectiveness, Volume I.

Abstract

The report describes the methodology derived to enable the prediction of operational influences on systems effectiveness. The systems considered were airborne interceptors, and the prediction methodologies were multiple regression and discriminatory analysis. It is shown how a computer can be programmed to transform field data into predictive equations relating system Availability, Dependability, and Capability to the measured operational parameters. The report includes a printout of the computer programs in Fortran and numerous examples of the models which can be produced. (Author)
